Get Brewing Mural

The good folks at The Hop & Grain relocated to a bigger warehouse and I was fortunate to make my mark on it. Inspired by blackletter on beer labels, with illustrations of hops and grains making up each letterform.

The process began with figuring out the forms of each letter by using flat pen calligraphy. The letters were then digitised to create a carbon transfer stencil. Once the outlines were marked out onto the wall I free hand painted the hop and grain pattern within the letters.
